Thanks again for being open to coming on The Grit Factor Podcast.

This page is here to help you know what to expect and show up relaxed and prepared.Nothing complicated. Nothing scripted.

What to Expect

The Grit Factor Podcast is a video-first conversation, not a scripted interview.

Episodes are recorded on video and audio, then published on podcast platforms, YouTube, and as short clips (reels and shorts). The focus is always on a real, grounded conversation, not soundbites for the sake of soundbites.

We’ll talk about your work, your story, and the experiences that shaped how you think and lead today.

I’ll guide the conversation.
Your only job is to show up as yourself.

Most episodes run 45–60 minutes.

Recording Platform

We record using Riverside.

You’ll receive a private link before the session.
That link takes you directly into the virtual studio. No downloads required.

If you can join from a laptop or desktop (rather than a phone), that’s preferred for video and audio quality.

Please Join 10 Minutes Early (If Possible)

If you’re able, please plan to join 10 minutes early.

We’ll use that time to:

  • Confirm audio and video
  • Handle any last-minute questions
  • Do a quick mental reset before we hit record

This helps the actual conversation start clean and relaxed.

How to Prepare (Simple)

You don’t need to overthink this.

Before we record:

Skim your intake responses to get back into the headspace

  • Think about a few moments that shaped you. Wins, failures, pivots, pressure
  • Decide on one main place you’d like people to find you (website, social platform, or project)

No need to list every link. One clear direction is perfect.

Tech Checklist (Please Read)

This helps everything look and sound good, especially for video.

Please plan to:

  • Join from a quiet space
  • Use a stable internet connection
  • Wear headphones or earbuds to prevent echo
  • Use a microphone if you have one (helpful, not required)
  • Make sure your face is well-lit and visible on camera
  • Close extra tabs and notifications

Nothing fancy required. Clean and simple works best.

Day of Recording Notes

  • Have water nearby
  • Silence notifications
  • If there’s anything you’d prefer to avoid or clarify, just say so

This is a respectful, real, human conversation.

Final Note

I appreciate you taking the time to be here.

The goal is simple.
A real conversation that’s worth listening to and worth sharing.
